Clas Malmström is a registered medical doctor, specialist in psychiatric rehabilitation, cognitive behavioral therapist. Clas left the county council (now regional) healthcare system early on due to the uncontrollable working conditions that prevail there and which make it almost impossible to get involved. For a few years, he was a stress researcher at Karolinska Institutet. He has written about ten books about positive stress at the individual and organizational level, mental strength training, leadership and employee development, and change and development psychology. Clas was head of IKEA's occupational health care for 6 years. He also has experience of his own business and leadership, and is the founder of PBM of Sweden. After he sold that company in 2004, Clas has worked as a freelance occupational physician and consultant in organizational and psychosocial work environment, leadership and employee development.
