Businesses face an increasingly severe cybersecurity threat, not least due to a shifting digital security environment. The growing number of cyber threats can have serious consequences if we are unprepared. Hackers are constantly improving their ability to detect and exploit even minor vulnerabilities. This can lead to large-scale attacks, exposing your organization to financial losses and legal risks. It’s no longer a question of if your organization will be targeted, but when—and whether you’re ready to respond.

How to identify and recognize various types of cyberattacks.
Daily practices and procedures to protect your organization’s systems.
How to develop and implement a robust cyber readiness plan.

Description:

The course, "Cyber Readiness in Practice," provides an overview of the most important elements in protecting your organization, preventing attacks, and managing security incidents effectively. It focuses on three central themes: cybersecurity, cyber hygiene, and cyber readiness. You will learn why cybersecurity is a crucial part of your role as a leader or IT specialist and gain insight into how to prevent different types of cyberattacks.

The course also covers practical measures to maintain strong cyber hygiene, such as implementing a mobile device policy. You’ll learn how to develop and implement a robust cyber readiness plan, enabling your organization to react quickly and efficiently to security incidents. With this knowledge, you will be better equipped to safeguard your organization against digital threats.

Prerequisites:

The course is designed for leaders and IT specialists in both private and public organizations. There are no specific prerequisites, but a basic understanding of IT systems and cybersecurity is an advantage. For example, if you have already completed GoLearn’s course on IT security, this course will be especially valuable. It is aimed at individuals responsible for ensuring their organization’s digital security and who wish to update or expand their skills in this area.

Christian Wiese Svanberg is a lawyer and one of the country’s most experienced experts in cybersecurity and data protection, with over 20 years of experience from institutions such as the Danish Data Protection Agency, the Ministry of Justice, and the Danish Defence Intelligence Service/Center for Cybersecurity. He advises businesses and public authorities on the legal aspects of cybersecurity, including the requirements of the NIS2 directive, and has unique expertise in managing the specific legal and practical risks that arise when organizations face cyber incidents. Sille Grostøl is a junior associate and part of Christian’s compliance team at the CO:PLAY law firm. With solid experience in GDPR and NIS2, she helps organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensures their security measures comply with legal requirements. Together, they offer a unique combination of strategic insight and practical experience in cybersecurity.
